We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Roam Electric — one of East Africa’s leading manufacturers of electric motorbikes and buses.

Roam’s vehicles now connect directly to the Jump Energy platform, making battery-powered fleets easier to run, monitor, and scale.

Why It Matters

Electric vehicles are only as good as the batteries that power them. But often, these batteries are complete black boxes — hard to get data, hard to track, harder to manage.

That’s where Jump comes in.

We use real-time data and smart software to make batteries more transparent, more reliable, and more cost-effective. Roam bikes can now plug directly into our system — giving operators, Roam, and financiers the tools they need to make better decisions.

Who Benefits

  • Fleet operators get one dashboard to monitor all their bikes — even if they’re using multiple brands.
  • Roam gets real-world performance data to improve their battery design and customer experience.
  • Financiers get visibility and control over the battery assets they’re funding.

What You Can Expect

  • Battery ROI in real time – See how your batteries are performing, and spot underperformers early.
  • AI-powered range prediction – More accurate than guesswork, based on real-world data.
  • Remote monitoring and alerts – Know when something’s wrong — and fix it fast.

Already Live in the Field

This integration isn’t theoretical — we’re already rolling it out. In our project with Kenya Power (KPLC), Roam motorbikes are being tracked and managed via the Jump platform, giving KPLC full visibility from their HQ in Nairobi.

This is just the start. We're building the infrastructure to support smarter electric fleets across Africa — and partnerships like this one are key.
